Woodlands Community College is a Foundation School and part of the Reach Cooperative Trust.

The school is its own admission authority, but follows the Southampton City Councils Admissions Policy.

Before you make your decisions, we are keen to welcome prospective students and their families to Woodlands.

Parents are welcome to visit the school at any time, by appointment, where there is the opportunity to see the school in operation during the working day, however, we have special times just for families in Year 5/6 to come and find out more.

As members of the Reach Cooperative Trust, the Governing Body of Woodlands Community College are now consulting on their Admissions Arrangements for the 2026/27 academic year. The school intend to continue to adopt the Southampton City Council admissions policy that they operated under before joining the Cooperative Trust and are thus following the same consultation to propose the addition of an oversubscription criteria for children of staff.
